The RBSA Gallery has delivered a New Curator project every year since 2011. The aim of the project is to enable current students or recent graduates to curate an exhibition of original artworks by Members, Associates, and guest artists.

This year, the New Curators exhibition will focus on sculpture and three-dimensional forms. The New Curators are: Lauren Hall, Stephen Kirk, Beatrice Moreira-Watkins, and Megan Prosser.

The work selected by the team are three pieces of my wall sculptures: Species Loss XIV, Cry No More and Lacrimae Rerum (Tears of Things) IV. The last piece is new and is a collection of porcelain tear bottles hung by hemp cord from a reclaimed oak beam from a boat. The bottles are labelled with weights from a 150 year old circular fishing net.
